MEET OUR TEAM
General Manager & Beverage Director
An industry veteran, Cody has spent the past 13 years working in nearly every facet of hospitality. Though an avid ’hospitalian’ on all fronts, he has found himself most drawn to the world of natural wine and terroir-driven spirits. Most recently, he was the Beverage Director at the multi-concept space Union Fare, before which he was Managing Partner and Beverage Director at Casa Neta Mezcaleria, and is a partner in Harding’s Restaurant. Cody has been featured in TimeOut New York, Liquor.com, Gothamist, and The Daily Meal, among numerous other publications. When not poring over the beverage lists at Anfora and expounding on the virtues of natural wine, Cody can be found cooking at home and planning yet another trip back to France (or the closest tiki bar).
Growing up as the youngest of six children in Brooklyn, Menachem’s love for cooking came out of necessity as a way to get first dibs on dinner and help his mother, and has since grown into his passion. Having held positions at award-winning restaurants The Spotted Pig and Danny Meyer’s North End Grill, he first joined our Anfora team as a cook in 2015. Menachem is a graduate of the Center of Kosher Culinary Arts, and when he’s not on the line, he’s likely found in the gym, dancing or on a quick beach getaway to Miami.
